Richard Taylor Burke started Charter Med Incorporated, a privately held firm based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, in 1974. The United Health Care Corporation was formed in 1977 to reorganize the corporation, and it later became Charter Med's parent company. 2. Mammograms Factor
In a 10-year period, over half of all women who have screening mammography will obtain a false-positive result. That isn't to say you shouldn't take the test. According to Dr. Malin, most breast cancers are diagnosed by mammography before symptoms develop, which is why it is so crucial.
